Stage Fire Curtain

Stage fire curtains are located between the audience seating area and the stage; their purpose is to seal off the front stage entrance and block the view. To prevent the spread of fire, fire curtains are installed in both the theater lobby and the main stage area. Fire curtains prevent oxygen from being depleted in the audience seating area during an evacuation from the main stage. They block the audience's view, help calm their emotions, and guide them toward an orderly evacuation. In the event of a fire in the theater or at the conclusion of a performance, the fire curtain automatically lowers, dividing the stage and the audience seating area into two fire compartments. The fire curtain descends by gravity within 45 seconds. When it reaches a distance of 2.5 meters from the main stage, the damping force begins to decrease to prevent injury to personnel and impact with the stage surface. The fire curtain is equipped with an electric lifting mechanism that allows for motorized control of its movement; it can also be lowered manually. Rigid fire-resistant partition curtains typically consist of a steel frame and fire-resistant panels (such as calcium silicate boards or Class A fire-rated panels). They are a fixed (non-retractable) fire-separation system. Compared to "flexible fire-resistant roller shutters", they feature a rigid structure and offer greater stability.

Rigid fire-resistant partition screens can be used in professional theaters, large sports arenas, performance areas of convention and exhibition centers, performance halls in cultural and tourism complexes, schools, and cultural centers.
