1. Inspect for wear on components such as rollers, intermediate shafts and bearings, hydraulic cylinder pins and bearings, and boom hinge pins and bearings.


2. Apply lubricant to all moving parts of the lifting mechanism to extend the service life of the bearings.


3. Check the quality and level of the hydraulic fluid. With the lift fully extended to its maximum height, the hydraulic fluid level should be 40–50 mm above the bottom of the reservoir tank. If the hydraulic fluid appears dark, viscous, or contains foreign matter (such as grit), it must be replaced immediately.
